  • Learn about women of ethnic minorities in the workplace: Towards Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting and a Race at Work Charter

Overview

Westminster Insight’s well-attended Women Mean Business Forum is returning this June to give delegates a vital update on progress being made towards the Hampton-Alexander Review targets, Gender Pay Gap reporting and the move towards Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting and a Race at Work Charter.

Although significant progress is being made, it is clear this is a longer-term challenge and more work needs to be done to sustain progress, overcome the tokenism hiring ‘one and done’ culture and to increase the number of women in leadership positions.

This forum explores how significant culture change needs to come in the very early stages to ensure capable women can progress from entry-level to senior management positions. With a focus on improving careers advice and encouraging entry into STEM subjects to investment in mentoring, training and development to support progression and promotions.

Join our expert panellists showcasing innovative ways to ensure female friendly workplaces that support women and help retain talent, including flexible working, maternity programmes, addressing ageism and overcoming gender bias in the design of roles.
