    Westminster Insight’s Second Annual Preventing Homelessness Conference will explore policy, best practice and legal duties to help reduce the number of people living on the streets. With the Rough Sleeping Act 2018 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 both placing additional responsibilities on local authorities, our conference will spotlight how to implement new initiatives to enhance early intervention and develop action plans supporting people when threatened with homelessness.

    You will hear from Housing First initiative across England, Wales and Scotland, sharing strategies to help provide permeant housing options for people experience homelessness and improving quality of life. Explore a unique case study focused from Amazing Grace Spaces, providing safe spaces for single people that are sustainable and long-term solutions.

    Our conference will showcase how local authorities, housing and third sector organisation can work together to support vulnerable groups at risk of homelessness including people who suffer from addiction, ex-offenders and victims of domestic abuse. Hear how to plan to prevent homelessness through partnerships, finding suitable temporary accommodation.
