With the end of the furlough scheme and the Universal Credit uplift, at least 100,000* renting households are at risk of homelessness.

Join Westminster Insight’s annual Tackling Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Digital Conference to sustain the momentum of the ‘Everyone In’ Initiative and build a collaborative approach towards ending homelessness in the UK.

Sharing next steps and outcomes for the HRA, the keynote speaker is Bob Blackman MP, co-chair of the Ending Homelessness APPG and author of the Homelessness Reduction Act (HRA). Learn from the Housing First UK pilot on how to build long-term solutions for ending homelessness. Our interactive panel will include Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region and Martine Whitehead from Greater Manchester Housing First.

Ed Tytherleigh from Centrepoint will spotlight preventative measures to help end youth homelessness by building strong partnerships, co-designing early interventions, and planning new provisions.

Gain practical insight on how to improve partnership working to develop services that are person-centred. You will hear from leading police, health, local authorities and third sector organisations on how to ensure tackling homelessness is a priority across different sectors.

Practical case studies will be delivered by frontline services on training staff to support complex needs of rough sleepers including mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse. Network with your colleagues from across local authorities, third sector organisations, housing associations, policing and healthcare to learn from each other and build a whole system approach towards ending homelessness.

This half-day event will be via an interactive digital platform.
